Strategy Tuner
offers speedy and accurate back-testing of strategies, on a
virtually unlimited amount of tick data, that takes
seconds to perform. Strategy Tuner is more than 1,000 times faster
than the benchmark software.
Strategy Tuner poses no limitation
on the duration of the back-testing period.
It can easily back-test the strategy on a multi-year
period of tick data. Other (TradeStation
limits tick-based back-testing to one month
only.)
Strategy Tuner makes no harmful assumptions about its
simulated order execution, since all orders are
filled just as soon as fill conditions are
satisfied, routinely processing more than 1,000,000
transactions per day. It does not force order-fill to occur at bar boundaries.
Elaborate order execution definitions allow you to achieve
a high-accuracy simulation setting. The system
allows you to define execution of big size orders,
